Welcome to CookSync. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CookSync app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

Recipes, photos, comments, and ratings you post ("your content") remain yours. By posting it, you grant CookSync a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it within the app so other users can view it. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to share anything you upload.

3. Acceptable use

Don't post content that's unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or is abusive or misleading. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, or interfere with other users' accounts.

4. Third-party services

Recipe photos and avatars are stored using Cloudinary, a third-party media hosting provider. Uploading an image means it will be transmitted to and stored by Cloudinary on CookSync's behalf.

5. Termination

You may stop using CookSync and delete your account at any time from Account details. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Disclaimer

CookSync is provided "as is." Recipes are submitted by the community; we don't guarantee their accuracy, safety, or nutritional content. Use your own judgment, especially around allergens and food safety.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of the State of Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app.
